Why is this - it keeps our costs down by not having costly showroom and office space.
We are a workshop, so by keeping our costs down we can pass the savings on to our customers.

As we are not an office, our time is spent in a very noisy workshop so we do not always hear the phone, so we prefer you to contact us by email. You can request for us to call you back if you prefer to chat to us in person.

We do our best to reply to emails during our working hours but please allow 24 hours for replies.
We predominantly sell to the wedding, party and events businesses, but anyone can buy from us, whether as an individual or as a business
Payment for your order can be made using all major debit and credit cards at the checkout.
All prices shown are in British Pounds
Our online payment service is handled by stripe, Events Props do not have access to your payment details, your payment details are encrypted and 100% secure.
Events Props does not offer any credit accounts to individuals or private businesses
If for whatever reason you need to cancel your order, this can only be done within 24 hours of ordering and must be done in writing by emailing sales@eventsprops.co.uk
Refunds back to your payment card issuer can take 3-7 working days to show on your account.
We reserve the right to charge 3% of the total amount to cover charges made to us by stripe for handling your payment.
Any cancellations made after 48hrs of ordering or whilst your order is in production will incur a 10% admin charge, this will be deducted from any refund.
We aim to ship all orders promptly, however most of what we advertise is custom made, therefore each item advertised will advise of a production time, please check the timeframe before ordering.
Sometimes we might need more time than what is advertised to complete your order, this can vary depending on our current workload.
If we need more time we will contact you and advise.
Please note that all our delivery and fulfilment timescales are only estimated.
We strongly advise not to advertise your new products until you have them on hand in case your order has any unexpected delays.
Events Props Ltd are not responsible for loss of earnings caused by delayed orders or courier issues.
We check all orders to ensure that they are not fraudulent. This protects us as a merchant from chargebacks by credit card companies and protects customers as we vigilantly screen orders. Obviously we can't disclose our processes for checking orders for potential fraud but by including your telephone number and email address when you order it can speed up the manual verification process should we need to contact you.
If we are not satisfied with the authenticity of an order we will not despatch it and refund the payment. All orders detected as fraud are reported to the Police
We use a variety of couriers to ship your order, the courier we use is based on the size and weight of your order.
We are currently using:
Parcel Force - TNT - Fedex - UPS - Hermes
It is important that you supply your mobile phone number to your order ,
this is so you will receive a delivery notification.
If you do not supply a contact number, this could delay the delivery of your order.
When your order is ready for shipping you will receive an email which will contain the courier tracking number.
If an order is delayed by a courier we will endeavour to keep you informed and chase up the courier on your behalf. If a courier informs us that a consignment is damaged or lost we will, at our expense send out a replacement using the same type of delivery service as the original order, eg next day courier.
Collection of your order is by advance appointment only.
You should only come to collect your order when you have received an email notification to inform you that it is ready to collect.
It is your responsibility to inspect the order before leaving our premises as any claims for damage will not be accepted after you have left the premises.
If you are collecting fragile or delicate items, we recommend that you bring something suitable to wrap it in to protect it whilst transporting.
If we may make an error in your order we will send out the correct item out to you with no additional carriage charge. We will also arrange for collection of the incorrect item.
We check all items before they are despatch to ensure they are in perfect condition. If damage happens in transit please email us within 24 hours of the delivery. Please have your invoice number to hand and let us know which items are damaged. We will replace the damaged items free of charge and arrange for the damaged items to be collected and returned to us.
Any claims for damaged goods will not be accepted after 24hrs of delivery and without photographic evidence
If you wish to return products that have no fault with them then we reserve the right to charge a restocking fee of 20% subject to compliance with EU distance selling regulations for consumer purchases. The restocking fee is is due to the administration costs and credit / debit card surcharges that are incurred in processing the order. You are responsible for returning the items to us in perfect condition at your expense. Please ensure you pack the items properly as if any item is damaged it will not be accepted for return. Carriage charges cannot be refunded once the order has been despatched from Events Props.
Custom made orders are exempt from our returns policy.
If your order is missing any items please contact us within 48 hours of delivery. When contacting us please have to hand the invoice number. Also please advise us if there was any damage to the parcel packaging. Where applicable we will replace any missing items. If we are not notified within 2 days of a picking error we cannot replace missing items.
All items are sold on a return to base warranty.
Warranties vary depending on the item purchased from 28 days to 12 months.
Used and grade B items are sold without warranty unless stated otherwise.
Custom made items are excluded from our return to base warranty.
Not all items advertised carry a warranty, products that carry a warranty will be noted in the item description
Warranty exclusions include:
Lamps/bulbs
Damage caused by transit
Misuse of a product
Events props will not be held accountable for any losses occurred such as bookings, payments or refunds made to clients as a result of late delivery or other issue. We recommend that you do not advertise any of our products until it has been delivered.
This does not affect your statutory rights.
All goods remain the property of Events Props until full payment is made.

Events Props does not hold any private details from its customers.
It is company policy to adhere to the Data Protection Act. We do not store any financial information provided by clients.
For us customer service is our top priority and we want to assist you as much as possible.
Occasionally things can go wrong, for example a courier can lose a parcel or an item can get missed out of an order, and when this does happen please get in touch and we will do everything appropriate to get the issue sorted as quickly as possible.
Our staff are here to help so please treat them with the same respect and manor you would expect.
If a customer is abusive we will simply cancel the order and refund if the goods have not been shipped.
We do not pay compensation for any consequential loss under any circumstances.
